! at last i see them not in the screen but in front of me. miss them so much!
i am blogging at some weird timing. 6am in the morning. woke up at 4 plus and cannot get back to sleep:( symptom of jet lag i guess.
reached sin on Sunday morning, around 2am cos the flight is delayed. we survived the long hour flight:)unfortunately Meijiao lost her MP3 player in the plane. we suspect that somebody stole it:( don know if she is able to claim from the insurance company.
On sunday, went to church. did not go for CM and went for second service instead. too early and not able to wake up. I was early for 2nd service so went to visit my P6 class. Miss the kids too, so happy to see them:) so gald that they finished their PSLE and they look more relax now. ZQ, Lowell and Caleb also organised a surprise Birthday Celebration.
saw lots of familiar faces, quite a few ppl welcome me back even though is only a short 6 weeks trip. catch up with different ppl and also realised that there lots of events gg on. spiritual milk camp, children camp, thanksgiving, P6 outing, YpM camp. booths are set up and posters are pasted at different area. will not be gg for most of them as i will be having attachment during that period, so sad lor. that's the thing abt working shift and weekend:( but i will visit them at night? when i am free.
is so different when you are alone and so far away. when you are feeling down, there is nobody there. when you are enjoying and having fun, they are not able to experience it with you. Haizz, nvm, we shall go together next time:)
quite a few ppl also ask abt the financial crisis, they ask whether the Americans are affected, how are they reacting, and wat's the situation like there? honestly, they look normal, they don look depress.i think we are not there long enough and are unable to tell the differences. we hear lots of ppl there talking and discussing abt it and it is the headline almost everyday, that's all.
sunday night was family time:) mom prepared steamboat! haha. miss home cooked food the most and not hokkien mee, satay, prata, laska, mee siam..... then after dinner is the highlight of the night! SAB's happiest moment minus the time she see me in the airport i guess. UNPACKING LUGGAGE!
i bought quite a lot of things. i went with 1 luggage and was back with 2. bought quite a lot of things for my family:) i'm gald that they like the stuff i got for them. is quite easy to get things for sab and dajie. sab loves everything and dajie is very sui bian and also i know their sizes. but is not easy getting it for dad, i don know his size, got a hard time choosing and guessing his size.plus i've nv bought clothes for guys, including him
never really get anything for mum, cos she is quite picky (think i am like her) and she keep telling me not to get anything for her, she is afraid that i will get the wrong stuff and she she will not like it. that's why for mother's day/ BD we usually give her voucher. over the years we became smarter.
